Purely Sanctified~~~

Why are we not able to be pulled out of the Lord’s hands?  That sure seems like a loaded question doesn’t it?  Let’s look at the Word and see what Scripture says.

^{John 10 28} And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. ²⁹ My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

We are promised eternal life through Jesus, given to Him by the Father.

The evidence of that promise is in the full Chapter of John 10, as follows:

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

² But he that entereth in by the door (Jesus) is the shepherd of the sheep. (speaking of witnesses)

³ To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

⁴ And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

⁵ And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

⁶ This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.

⁷ Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

⁸ All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

⁹ I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

¹⁰ The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

¹¹ I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

¹² But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. (a hireling is for self – not willing to lay their life down for the flock)

¹³ The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

¹⁴ I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

¹⁵ As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

¹⁶ And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. (Jesus brings people into the sheepfold)

¹⁷ Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

¹⁸ No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

¹⁹ There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.

²⁰ And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him? (Throwing accusations)

²¹ Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind? (The blind will lead the blind right off the cliff…)

²² And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.

²³ And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch.

²⁴ Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. (Caught up in offense/accusation and couldn’t hear Him plainly)

²⁵ Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.

²⁶ But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

²⁷ My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

²⁸ And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

²⁹ My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

³⁰ I and my Father are one.

I guess you could say many of us have literally been snatched out of the fire and the enemy’s hands and placed into the hands of Jesus and we cannot be snatched out of his hands.

Who are we really?

Are we a sinner expecting to enter into the Kingdom, which would go against all Scripture by the way?

Or are we a Saint who falls short occasionally?  Being perfected, purified, sanctified and set apart?  Which more rightly describes the fullness of Jesus abiding in us, aligning with His written and spoken words.  This offends flesh.  This causes an argument to rise up in one’s flesh.

Sin is a mistake the first time and a choice after that…  If I am honest with myself I know it is not what I want to do I do anyway and vice versa.  I choose sin at times, me… I do it.  I can’t blame anyone, not even the devil – he didn’t MAKE me do it, I did it.  Do you know what happens when you blame another for the act you commit?  It prevents repentance and without true remorseful repentance there is no deliverance and no restoration and without these we are not washed clean by the Blood of Jesus, having a garment spotted and blemished.  Avoiding making ourselves ready.

So today… I want to talk a little about PURITY and SANCTIFICATION and see where the Holy Spirit leads us.

Some of us have been praying the Lord “CREATE IN ME A PURE HEART” as stated in Psalm 51:10.  How foolish it would be to make a request known to the Father in skepticism.  So I happen to believe if it was declared and written by Him, it surely is attainable with Him.  Amen.

Who enters into the Kingdom of Heaven?  Only those who become as a child…  A child is pure in this way of trusting the Father.  Since we know a child can be full of folly (foolish), often like us, I am reminded once again it is not what we do or do not do but rather if we receive what Jesus already did to reconcile us to the Father…  That is where Faith comes in and your whole life and desires change when He touches your heart and soul.  You begin to bend and move WITH HIM, rather than MOVING AWAY from Him.  As a wayward child full of folly playing a dangerous game, we go from running away from His arms, right into them.  I happen to believe this is an ongoing process throughout our whole lives, rather than just a one time moment.

Want to know who you belong to?  All you have to do is look at yourself and see who you run to in a time of need.  A sinner will run to sin or a man, oftentimes a stranger.  A child of God (Saint) will run to their Father.  Granted at times it takes more pressure on some than it does others in order for them to be broken enough to run to Him, but rest assured… We did run to Him and so will they.

His children WERE sinners saved by GRACE.  Is there such a thing as a saved sinner?  Sinners lack one pivotal requirement…. Repentance.  But when our identity is in Jesus, our desire to sin is removed within us so that when we do slip up occasionally we have an internal warning system going off to naturally say – I am sorry Lord, please forgive me and go and sin no more.  I know I am just pointing out the obvious here, but the devil has convinced us through condemnation there is no way out of sin, which is a lie.  JESUS IS THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE and through Him, through the WAY OF ESCAPE He has provided (Himself)… We truly can walk the Earth and be Holy as our Father in Heaven is Holy, just as He commanded us to do. Again it is not what we DO, but rather what He already has DONE to make us presentable before the Father.

So the first step is to understand that PURITY, HOLINESS and RESTORATION are attainable.  Even if we do not believe it right now, can we agree it is written in the Scriptures?  All the time I am in situations in which my mind and heart question what is written, but if I seek the Lord and His words, eventually my mind will align with His truth and so will my walk.  It is how we encourage our soul in His footsteps of truth.

I do not want to digress and try to convince anyone today of what is already written in the Word.  Some of us need to go back to the basics and do a solemn study in the Gospels of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John to get a firm foundation of truth.  Without a firm foundation the whole house (us) will collapse and we will run to and fro.  So in moving forward, let’s believe we HAVE (past tensed) sinned and fallen short of His glory.  But that is the old man, not the New Creature in Christ, who’s identity seeks to have no part in the sinful nature of the old man.  If what I am saying leaves you with any doubt, I urge you to Study the Word more in-depth to show yourself approved before the Lord, because we have to keep walking here…

As we die to the flesh daily, I can promise you so does our desire to be ruled by it and we seek to be Holy, without spot or blemish and what we seek we shall become.  What we take in, eat of and partake in we become one with and if it is Jesus and His words then the outcome is without fault, blameless and pure.  Remember – less of me and more of HIM.

Once our hearts are purified so will everything else fall into the place in the arena of purity – our minds, souls, actions, words, etc… Reflect Him, abiding in us.  But like I said… this is a required process so we KNOW HIM and intimacy is fortified in the process.

Let’s read something I found the other day in Mathew 19:

¹¹ But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.

¹² For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.  (Eunuchs are undefiled in the Lord’s eyes – virgins)

¹³ Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.

¹⁴ But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

¹⁵ And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.

¹⁶ And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

¹⁷ And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

¹⁸ He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

¹⁹ Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

²⁰ The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

²¹ Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

²² But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

²³ Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

²⁴ And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

²⁵ When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

²⁶ But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

²⁷ Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?

²⁸ And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

²⁹ And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

³⁰ But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

• With God all things are possible.
• We must follow Jesus as a child and forsake (let go) of EVERYTHING
• We become PERFECT when we let go of everything and follow Him
• Even the disciples rebuked the children but Jesus said let them come to me
• All men cannot receive this saying, but some will if the Father gives it to them
• Most importantly – I want us to concentrate on Verse 12

¹² For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.  (Eunuchs are undefiled in the Lord’s eyes – virgins)

Without having to spend too much time…  Eunuchs mirror virgins, dedicated to serving the King as a life laid down in full submission.

Some were:

• Born that way
• Made that way by men
• Made themselves that way for Heaven’s sake

I am reminded of how the Bride will make herself ready in Revelation 19:

⁷ Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. ⁸ And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

• The Bride made herself ready
• Wears cleanliness and purity (through a bleaching process)
• What she wears is RIGHTEOUSNESS (redeemed, a favorable judgment of acquittal)

Displaying characteristics of:

Virtue, keeping the commands of God, innocent, faultless, guiltless, no guile, Who’s ways of behaving, thinking, acting and feeling are WHOLLY CONFORMED TO THE WILL OF GOD so they need no rectification in the heart of life – BELONGING SOLELY TO JESUS CHIRST.

• Did you notice this Scripture speaks of SAINTS, not sinners?

That is who I want to speak to today for the remainder of this study.  You know who you are even though I may not.  But when I just went over that Scripture it resonated as truth WITHIN YOU.  Your mind may have questioned it, but your Spirit confirmed what I was reading, saying, “This is you.”  You already know, this is the way, now walk in it.  (Speaking of obedience)

Some of you are naïve concerning evil just like me and I want to talk to you for just a moment if I may.  In my time alone with the Lord I was asking Him why He made me the way He did?  Falling short so much and desiring to be less naïve and trusting because it seems if you are not delivering evil you are being targeted by it and I do not like this at all I must confess.  Now I realize some of you all knowing evil was required of you and even that is purposed.  But for just a moment I would like to speak to those who the Lord kept from desiring to seek ghosts, channeling spirits, playing Ouija boards, new age illuminations, seeing and hearing demons in bedrooms, etc… You see evil and either it flees from you or you resist it so it flees, but either way evil is not in your repertoire of what you seek.  There are a few of us out there and we often feel rejected by those who have had experiences we have not.  There is also a small remnant of people who used to do those things and are fully redeemed and reconciled to the Lord and have turned away – so this I am sharing includes you as well.  But if you have even a small bit of leaven of curiosity of the dark side, you still have some work to do in this area.  In other words, when the enemy comes he still finds something in you to sift you with as wheat.

I was praying and seeking the Lord on this because I really, really do not have any desires to seek after anything which originates or operates in darkness and chaos.  Can anyone relate?  We are castaways really, the World casts us away and oftentimes so does the church.  Just mention the fact you are “Homesick” and the religious will bring the wrath of words upon you for simply stating you have a longing to be present with the Lord void of any flesh barrier.  So to encourage you all there are few Scriptures the Lord gave me:

Romans 16:19-20 For your obedience is come abroad unto all men.  I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good and simple concerning evil.  And the God of peace shall bruise satan under your feet shortly.  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Mathew 18:3 Truly I tell you unless you become converted (change your behavior) and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of Heaven.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Titus 1:15-16  Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

I just wanted to encourage you all who are like children, to continue walking with the Lord Jesus and to take time alone with Him regularly when the World or even those inside the Church seem to overwhelm you.  We must comfort one another with the words by which we were comforted.  Which is why I am even saying this today.

There truly are some who do follow the lamb wherever He goes, the redeemed and without guile in their mouths.  They are often the counted out ones, the least of these so to speak.  You sing a new song now, you know the Lord is worthy, He is your Shephard and you drink from His well of living water only.  The Lord will wipe away every tear that you have cried from your eyes.  And when He returns, you will prevail with Him and accompany Him as His called and chosen, faithful ones.  YOU ARE IN THE NEW CREATURE IN CHRIST JESUS, THE BELOVED BRIDE and ARE SO LONGING FOR HIS APPEARANCE.  You wear the Crown of Righteousness spoken of in 2 Timothy 4:8.

Please do not be ashamed of who you are because of Who’s you are.  I want this to be an encouragement to you, to just hold on a little longer and soon, very soon, one way or another we are going Home.

Haggai 2

My Spirit is abiding in your midst; do not fear!’ 6“For thus saysthe LORD of hosts, Once more in a little while, I am going to shakethe heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land. 7‘I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts

 

 

 

Hebrews 12

²³ To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

²⁴ And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

²⁵ See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

²⁶ Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

²⁷ And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

²⁸ Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

²⁹ For our God is a consuming fire

The glory in all this is WHEN WE FOLLOW THE LAMB WHEREVER HE GOES, LISTENING ONLY TO HIS VOICE AS HE REMOVES THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE NOT OF HIM IN ORDER ONLY THAT WHICH CANNOT BE SHAKEN REMAINS SO WE CAN SERVE GOD AND BE FOUND ACCEPTABLE IN HIS SIGHT… IN TURN WE HAVE GODLY FEAR AND REVERENCE WHICH FORGES A SINLESS, LAID DOWN LIFE RESULTING IN US MAKING OURSELVES READY.

How amazing is that????  Glory!!!!

You want to see who you resemble?  Look here….  Even an Elder was curious about these chosen ones and asked John about them – they were discussing these around the throne.  Let’s read in Revelation 7.

And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

² And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

• An angel has the seal of God and seals those who serve the Lord from each Tribe

³ Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

• No need to fear what is to come because we are sealed and protected from that which is coming upon the Earth

⁴ And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

⁵ Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.

• A hundred here in Greek means a number of infinity referencing a sheepfold
• Thousand here means of an infinity amount of time (as in the dragon, old serpent, devil, satan is bound a thousand years or how we will reign with Jesus a thousand years — One day is like a thousand days to the Father as He is not bound by the constraints of time like we are here on Earth)
• Tribes are mentioned because it is a collective gathering from all over the Earth – see verse 9

⁶ Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.

• Twelve here distinguishes the chosen from the called who have apostolic presence on the Earth by authority, nobility and sanctification, they follow in the footsteps of Jesus just as the apostles did in His day walking the Earth in the flesh. Again THOUSAND is used because the number is innumerable so to speak – TWELVE is basically describing their calling to serve the Kingdom.

⁷ Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.

⁸ Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.

⁹ After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

¹⁰ And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

¹¹ And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,

¹² Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

¹³ And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

¹⁴ And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

¹⁵ Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

¹⁶ They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

¹⁷ For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Now if that doesn’t cause your Spirit to take notice and get excited I don’t know what will!!

These chosen ones are mentioned again in Revelation 14, let’s take a look.

Revelation 14

And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.

² And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

³ And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

⁴ These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

⁵ And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Sooooo… As I was feeling a little like Nicodemus when he asked the Lord how to be born again when he is old and whether he had to enter back into his mother’s womb…  I just sat here for many many days, pondering what the Lord was showing me.

I also asked Him why we are called sons of God when some of us are girls?  And how is a man to be a bride and how odd that must feel?  And how he calls us wise virgins when our flesh is sure lacking in that department?  And my questions to Him are just endless….

You know what He said?

My beloved child, you ask so many things, as I have created you with the curiosity of a child.  It is rare for one to be touched by such evil and continue to seek answers in the simple truths of Me.  I have loved you with an everlasting love, to which is unmatched in human frailties.  Many have counted you out and all along I have counted you in.  Your securement in the Kingdom is discovered in your simplistic and humble ways.  Nothing is able to pull you out of my grasp, as I embrace the purity of you, fanning that eternal flame to burn out all iniquity as a washing deluge upon your heart.  As the sands of time pass, it shall become more evident I know you and you know me.  Seek me as I am found in the still small voice of your being and hold on tightly to the pearls I clothe you with.  Most will not understand, but just like I sent my Son Jesus to reach a few… A few will grasp the fullness of truth I anoint your lips to speak.  You have no guile in you and therefore neither are your words laced with the guile of man but rather are shod with pure innocence of Me.  Lead who will follow and for the rest who are of a different fold, trust me to get them as well.  They are not of your concern, but are reserved unto Me to attain.  When at all possible be at peace with all men and be diligent to not be tainted by that which is not appointed in your time.  As I continue to grow your understanding that I am sovereign over all, My peace will affirm you to stand.  Never weary in doing good, do not run ahead of Me and do not lag behind, but rather be lead solely by the Holy Spirit, moving and swaying at His contractual leading.  I have never placed any fear into you outside of fearing and revering Me.  As you learn to submit wholly unto Me you will begin to walk upon the waters of adversity, destroying the enemy under your feet, sinking only into my presence of covering and protection.  Seek no man for anything but only seek Me and as a result I will move man to assist on your behalf.  Seeking man only delays the process to an inevitable outcome, therefore, know that I am your One True Source of all in life which was, and is, and is to come.  You, my precious daughter are priceless and those who share in Me cherish what I cherish and see what I formed as righteous goodness within you.  My love is poured out to others through the fingertips of your heart.  Tell them… I can always be found.  Some question everyone but Me, so I wait faithfully for their turn, as I embrace them with My love.  Tell them again… I can always be found as I will not share my glory with another in their hearts forever.  Amen.

 

So today I said all that to say this one thing…

Those who belong to the Lord are curious of one thing — Him.  We may not contain all the answers but when a question arises we seek one source – Him for the answer, knowing HE IS THE ANSWER and a stranger’s voice we will not follow brings us such release.  And the beauty in all this sea of truth is…  A little child will lead them.  Amen.  Because it was Jesus Who said… Unless you become as one of these (a child) you cannot enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

We are just now beginning to take baby steps to trust Him in all things, just as a little child will lead them…. He is leading us.  Amen.
